Our Orchard

Clear blue skies, picturesque mountains and pristine lakes of the Southern Alpine region provide the perfect backdrop for Ardgour Valley Orchards. Boasting 15,000 apricot trees and 15,200 cherry trees, our 38 hectare orchard is set in a long, fertile valley within the privately owned Ardgour Station.Originally founded by Bruce & Linda Jolly from Ardgour Station, alongside Ross & Sharon Kirk the orchard is now owned by a group of 15 shareholders and run by a highly experienced management team. Our quest is to produce better looking and tasting fruit than anywhere else in the world. With our mineral-rich soil fed by glacial streams, and irrespective of the season, a climate offering low rainfall, humidity and plenty of sunshine we know we can succeed.
